The Bad

A few customers complained of a lumpy bottom or a sag in the middle.

There are also a few complaints of a plastic smell that comes with a new pack n play.

Another issue seems to be locking the sidebars into the upright position.

2: 4moms Breeze Plus Portable Playard

The 4moms Breeze Plus portable playard is like nothing like I’ve seen before. It gracefully opens and closes with a single motion. This is really helpful for active parents who move around a lot and take their pack n play along. For those who only plan on using it stationary it might not make a big difference.

The Good

With its “one push open, one pull close” Functionality, This thoughtfully designed combination playard, bassinet, and flip changer will give you the ultimate in flexibility when it comes to baby care.

The 4moms breeze plus is an all-in-one care station that adapts to your baby’s needs throughout the day and over the first few years

Because the breeze plus consolidates much of your baby’s essential care into one portable place, it will become the one piece of baby gear you can’t live without. The bassinet offers a comfortable spot where baby can rest. Use the convenient flip changer for quick diapering and clothing changes.

As your baby grows and is on the move, simply take out the bassinet to provide a safe space for relaxing and playing. The bassinet can be enjoyed from birth to 18 pounds, The flip changer up to 25 pounds, and the durable playard until 30 pounds. When not in use, conveniently tuck it all away in the included travel bag.

The Bad

There aren’t separate mattresses for each the playard and the bassinet. The bassinet mattress is a part of the playard mattress, so you can’t have both assembled with sheets at the same time.

It may not be ideal for someone who has back problems. The constant bending and then lifting the baby isn’t convenient.

3: Graco Pack ‘n Play Travel Dome LX Playard

The Graco Pack ‘n Play Travel Dome LX Playard is full of unique features, you will love a playard that is useful from day one of your baby’s life.

Great for travel because you can use the bassinet instead of having to transport the whole playard.

The Good

The removable bassinet features a UV 50 canopy and carry bag, for comfort and convenience when you enjoy the backyard with baby or head to a park playdate. When used on the playard, the bassinet is positioned at eye level for easy check-ins.

The Bad

There are a few complaints of assembly being difficult, and that it it needs more storage space and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles it should have for the price tag.

4: Baby Trend Lil Snooze Deluxe 2 Nursery Center

The Baby Trend Lil Snooze Deluxe 2 Nursery Center serves as an all in one infant center for changing, napping, serving as a bedside co-sleeper, all before turning into a regular pack n play.

The Bad

One of the biggest complaints is that it’s not easy to set up. Otherwise, there seems to be no other issues.

5: BabyBjörn Travel Crib Light

The BabyBjorn Travel Crib Light is sleek and modern like the Lotus playard (currently not available), but with a couple of added bonuses. BabyBjorn is known for user friendly, safe baby items.

The Good

Sleeping away from home with small children has never been easier. The Travel Crib Light is easy to carry, set up and fold up. The soft mattress makes the travel crib a comfortable and snug place for your child to sleep on a trip.

The Bad

Many people have said that this is a better choice for older babies and toddlers, not for newborns because of how low to the ground it is.  There’s also complaints of a chemical smell and it does not come with a sheet. You can get a BabyBjorn organic cotton sheet, or you can purchase a cheaper pack n play sheet that works, too.
